After 1975, the files include "green sheets," the agenda sheets and attached informational materials that were distributed to the board about topics on the agenda. Through 1973, the series includes typed annual indexes that precede the years to which they refer. In addition, a card index combines references to the Fisheries, Forestry, and State Park boards with the Conservation Commission. Two additional card indexes refer to the Natural Resources Board meetings, one for the period 1967-1968 when it and the Conservation Commission was functioning; the second is a Xeroxed copy of a subject index maintained in the office of the Dept. of Natural Resources secretary and covers 1968-1987. This card file was replaced by an electronic index that is available to researchers through the secretary's office.
